Happy St. Patrick's Day 🇮🇪 I wonder if they have won the house points this week?
Another amazing week here at Chiseldon - we had Creative Hut in school working with our children across Key Stage 2, where they were coding Lego Robotics. The children had plenty of fun.
After I sent the email out about parking on the corner, it seemed more people parked there than normal. Can I please ask that you do not park on the corner, on double yellow lines, across from the large gates we come through as this is where the vast majority of our children cross to come to school. It makes crossing that part of the road extremely dangerous - thank you for listening.
Please may I also remind you that we have a one-way system to make entering and exiting the school easier. Can you please come in via the large gates, where I stand, and exit through the small gate during drop off and pick up - again, thank you for listening.

The whole school's attendance is 94%. I am sure that we can make it to 95% by Easter if we all try and be in school every day - come on let's do this.
In other news...
Next week the children look at Shakespeare across the school as it is Shakespeare week - I am really looking forward to the dress-up day on Friday.
Living eggs are delivered to the EYFS as they watch the chicks hatch and grow.
We begin to look at Ramadan as this starts on Wednesday.
Also on Wednesday, there is the sleep workshop for parents - if you haven't signed up there is still time, so make sure that you let us know.
And finally, on Thursday is our topic celebration where you can come into school and work with your children - from 14:30 onwards.
I hope you have a super weekend
