We've enjoyed "The Snail and The Whale" this week, identifying where their adventures took them and pretending to be beached whales needing spraying and squirting with freezing water! We will be writing postcards using our imagination, thinking about what might be seen and done. Henri Matisse was our inspiration for some chalk inhancements on the playground and we followed his example by cutting out different shapes of paper to create modern art. We imagined different types of transport and used junk modelling to make trains, spacecraft, cars and boats.
