The final term at Chiseldon Primary and Nursery School has arrived for Year 6 and it's a jam-packed one! After the Berlin residential, we will focus on our Leavers' Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolored Dreamcoat as well as finishing up topics and celebrating the end of SATs with visits to Chiseldon House Hotel for a picnic (with ice-cream) and McDonalds once the results are out. We are also attending Junior Good Citizen on 10th June to learn how to keep safe. There will also be transition days to secondary school.
PE this term, remains on Tuesday afternoons and we also have cricket sessions on Wednesdays this term, however, please full kit is in school daily as well as trainers every day for the Mile Run. Music (trumpet) lessons also continue on Tuesday afternoons too.
This term's 48 spellings are listed below so please encourage your children to work on these over the duration of the term. This is your final Spelling Bee at Chiseldon - good luck and learn those words so you can compete!
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me via the link above and I will respond within 48 hours. I am available at the beginning and the end of the day for quick queries, however, it is ususally advisable to arrange an appointment for anything more in-depth as it isn't always possible to speak when the children have arrived for the day.
