The weekly blog - keeping you up-to-date with school life; Stars of the Week; Housepoint winners and much more..

Congratulations!  We have all made it to half term.  Yesterday was Thank a Teacher Day and I would like to say a big thank you to all the team at Chiseldon Primary & Nursery School for always going above and beyond for all the children in the school.  Your dedication to their learning is amazing, so thank you.

It is now half term and the weather is looking rather good - I hope you have some lovely activities planned for the week.  I have asked the children to read 3 times for the week off just to keep this ticking over.

Congratulations!

I would like to say a huge congratulations to Year 5, who have been awarded the Top Doodling class, with 100% of the class being in the green zone all week for their learning - well done!

Year 5 & 6 team who went to the quad kids competition this week.  You should be very proud of yourselves for coming 5th as a team.  Well done to Ellie C for getting gold and being the best girl in the entire competition - well done.

In other news...

We come back to school on Monday 6th June and Year 1 will be sitting their phonics screening check, so please make sure they are all in school ready.

Next term sees our residential trip to Berlin return for our Y6 pupils and we are all looking forward to attending.

We will be doing our weekly transition day starting on Wednesday 29th June.  This is when your child will find out who their next year's teacher is and do some work with them weekly so that they are prepared for September.

We will also see our sports days return and summer fair - loads going on, so please do come along if you can and support all of our events.  All dates will go on the calendar ready.

Have a great week and I will see you all on Monday 6th June.
