This week;
- In Book Talk we have been reading chapter 1 of 'The Abominables' by Eva Ibbotson thinking about the importance of colours, secrecy and feelings.
- In Mathematics we have been learning our 3 and 4 times tables, practicing them in order as well as looking at their multiplication and division facts.
- In English we have started our narrative sentence stacking for 'Stone Age Boy'.
- In Science we have identifying naturally occurring and man-made rocks and recognising the difference between the two.
- In History we have been looking at the prehistoric timeline.
- In Re this we we have been thinking about our favourite Christmas memories and what Christmas means to us.
- In German we have been looking at vocabulary to describe keeping fit.
- In Computing we have been discussing if pictures can move and creating our own short flip book animations using post-it notes.
- In PE we have started our dance unit, thinking about how we can portray the actions of Stone Age people carry out different activities.
