This week;

In Book Talk we have been reading the 5th and final chapter of 'The Iron Man' by Ted Hughes, thinking about how the main characters would feel at the end of the book.
In Mathematics we have been looking at counting in tenths to finish our place value unit. We have also made a start on our first geometry unit looking at horizontal and vertical lines.
In Science we have been looking at invertebrates and how they protect their bodies.
In Topic we have been planning our superhero comic strips.
In History we have been continuing to look at real-life superheroes, learning about Louis Braille.
In Computing we have been looking at how we can use digital devices to help us.
On Tuesday we had a wonderful visit from Davina Sparks who spoke to us all about the fire service and fire safety.
On Thursday we celebrated World Mental Health Day by wearing yellow and learning about what mental health means and how we can take care of our mental health.
