Remarkable Recorders
The children really surprised me with their playing of the recorders. They were amazing and remembered lots of the notes. Mr Parkinson was very proud of their achievements. Keep up the good work Centaurs!
We have continued with place value and how important the 0 is as a place holder. We have identified four digit numbers on number lines with different scales, always checking the information given. Our Mystery Box inspired a variety of writing from the Olympics to mermaids! Our Jigsaw generated discussions about the people in our school community and how everyone has a responsibility; from governors to parents, site manager to headteacher. Everyone has an important job in the school community, fitting together like a jigsaw.
