The weekly blog - keeping you up-to-date with school life; Stars of the Week; Housepoint winners and much more..

This has been another fantastic week in school and all the children are settling back into their learning and achieving our three rules.

The term seems to be going rather quickly and we will soon be thinking about the end of term.

I have spoken with staff about when we return after October break, as Monday is Halloween.  We are allowing the children to bring a costume to school so that they can change after lunch if they want to and there will be a little celebration in each class.

Attendance

This week's winner with 100% attendance is Y6.  What a great job - everyone in school every day 🏆

Whole school attendance is 95.8% this is heading in the right direction, so well done everyone for being in school every day.

In other news...

Next week starts with the school looking at Black History Month.  There will be learning throughout the month about different events that have occurred during our history.

Wednesday 5th, Y6 parents are invited in at 14:45 to watch our pupils show their learning over the course of this term.  I am looking forward to seeing all the wonderful things they have learnt.

Parent Meetings

On the 11th & 13th of October, we will be holding our parent/child meetings.  Remember to look out for the email to book your slot.  These will be coming out next week.

Y4 Residential

There is a parent/child meeting on Wednesday 12th October starting at 17:00 in the Y4 classroom to discuss the arrangements for the residential trip that is happening after the October 1/2 term.

I hope that you have a lovely weekend.

Kind regards
