All Aboard the Chiseldon Train!
We have really enjoyed our train themed week. We listened to the rhyme "The Train Ride," used cardboard boxes to pretend going on a train, used a hole punch to mark our tickets and thought of different things we might see from a train window. We have continued to enjoy our party role play area, decorating party masks, designing celebration cakes and dressing up. There are some future engineers in EYFS, understanding the process of burning coal to create fire, to boil the water, to make the steam, to drive the pistons in a steam train - AMAZING!
Unicorns have started learning sounds with two letters. Ask them to tell you how we say "ff", "ss", "tt", "zz", "ll" and "ee." Keep practising as it will get easier!
Pegasus have been fantastic flipper flappers with Squiggle While you Wiggle. Have a go at home!
