We were inspired this week by Henri Rousseau's artwork, "Surprised!" We visited our forest to experience the different shapes and textures of the natural world and imagined all kinds of jungle animals there. None were reported as real!
We have been working hard on our writing, composing a different sentence every day based on the story, Handa's Surprise. The children have enjoyed using Dictionary Dog's words, especially "scrumptious" to describe the smell of the exotic fruit.
