We have had another fantastic week getting into the swing of year 3!

This week;

In Book Talk we have been reading the second chapter of The Iron Man thinking about the emotions of the characters.

In Maths we have been continuing to look at place value looking at reading and writing 3-digit number in words as well as identifying them on a timeline.

In English we have been doing lots of drama to help us understand the story of Grace Darling for our biography and we have started to build some of our sentences.

In Science we have been identifying the main food groups and what a balanced diet.

In Topic we have been looking at why Hollywood is so important in the film industry.

In RE we have been looking at the Hindu story of Rama and Sita and thinking about how it teaches about 'Good vs Evil'.

In RSHE we have been thinking about what our favourite think about our school is and what would make our school a nightmare.
