Year 6

Happy New Year and welcome back to school for the Spring Term.  It was lovely to see everybody back this week, ready to learn and full of enthusiasm.  Our topic for this termis The European Union - very topical with our imminent departure from the EU.  I am particularly looking forward to the undoubtedly lively debate we will have in class!ne

PE remains on Tuesday afternoons so please ensure your children have their full PE kit in school as well as trainers every day for the Mile Run.  They will also continue with trumpet lessons on a Tuesday afternoon.

The new 48 spellings for this term are also listed below.  Please encourage your children to work on these over the duration of the term.  10 weekly spellings will also be given to every child each week on a Friday and they will be tested on these on the following Friday.

If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact me via the link above and I will respond within 48 hours.  I am available at the beginning and the end of the day for quick queries, however, it may be advisable to arrange an appointment for anything more in-depth.
