Celebrating a Fabulous Week at School

27-02-2026

Back with a Bang: Secret Veggie Pasta, Starry Year 1s, and Springtime Smiles!

It was absolutely lovely to see all your bright, smiling faces back on Monday after our half-term break. I hope you all had a chance to relax, recharge, and maybe even spot a sneaky squirrel or two on your adventures!

As I mentioned in my letter, we’re back to freshly cooked meals in the hall, and let me tell you—the children were buzzing with excitement over my pasta! They’ve been pestering me for the recipe, but shhh... it’s a secret. If they knew just how many sneaky vegetables I blend in, they might start calling it “pasta surprise”! It’s amazing what a blender can hide—who knew carrots could be so stealthy?

A huge well done to our Year 1 stars for working so hard during your assessment week. You all shone brightly, and I’m so proud of your effort and determination. Keep up the fantastic work!

The children have settled back into the school routine wonderfully, and there’s a lovely buzz in the air. Fingers crossed that now we’re in the Spring term, the mornings will start to get lighter and we’ll see a bit more sunshine—perfect for those outdoor playtimes and learning adventures.

Here’s to a bright and brilliant term ahead, full of learning, laughter, and maybe a few more secret vegetable-packed meals!

Have a super weekend!
