At our school, we adhere to the current guidelines by operating for 39 weeks each year, allocating 5 days specifically for teacher training. This structure allows us to meet the legal requirement of 190 teaching days. Furthermore, our school exceeds the mandated 32.5 hours of instruction per week.

Extra Curricular Clubs are available on a Friday from 13:00 until 14:00, except on the last Friday of each term and this is not part of the 32 hours and 35 minutes as set out by the DfE.
Registers open at 08:25 and close at 08:45. Arrivals after this time will result in a 'late' mark being given. All late arrivals must report to the school office.

The academic year is divided into six distinct terms. This structure allows us to provide a balanced and enriching educational experience for all pupils.

Term 4: Monday 22nd February to Thursday 25th March

PLEASE NOTE: There is a further teacher training day to be added to the academic year and as always, we will try and give parents at least two weeks notice.
