Celebrating a Fabulous Week at School

05-09-2025

What a first week back!

Welcome back to all our families! After a successful dressing up day as our favourite characters, the pupils look absolutely brilliant in their new uniforms. I have to admit, I was slightly worried about the navy blue, but the pupils have embraced the new look wonderfully.

Just a quick reminder - I've sent out our updated attendance and behaviour policies over the summer break. Our safeguarding policy will follow soon. Don't forget to check the Term Dates section on our website regularly - I've updated everything through to December with all the key events you need to know about.

Stars of the Week

  • EYFS: Hudson and Jaxon
  • Year 1: Piper and Ted
  • Year 2: Harrison and Sachin
  • Year 3: Lyla and Chethana
  • Year 4: Bella-Rose and Eva
  • Year 5: Leon and Isaac
  • Year 6: Emily and Jibril

What an incredible bunch! Every single one of these pupils impressed their teachers from day one - that's exactly what we love to see.

This week's winning house is St. George with 52 house points. Brilliant start to our house system!

Now, let's talk attendance. At 91.05%, we're not quite where we need to be. Every day really does count for your child's learning and progress, so let's aim higher next week. Huge congratulations to our EYFS class though - 99.73% attendance is absolutely fantastic!

Coming up next week:

  • Monday: School photos for all pupils. If you have siblings who don't attend our school but would like a sibling photo, please bring them at 08:30. If all your children attend our school, there's no need to come early - we'll arrange sibling photos during the school day.
  • Wednesday 15:30: Meet the Teacher sessions for Years 1-6 - please do come along!
  • Thursday: RAF STEM team visiting Years 4, 5, and 6 - this is going to be exciting!

Thanks for all your support as we kick off another brilliant year together.
