Shining Stars and Smiles: Chiseldon’s Week of Wonderful Wins!
What a fabulous week we’ve had here at Chiseldon Primary & Nursery School! The energy and enthusiasm around school have been absolutely brilliant, and I just can’t wait to share some of the highlights with you.
First up, a huge shout-out to our amazing Year 3 pupils who have just completed their assessment week. We all know how tough it can be to pause and check what we’ve learned, but they tackled it with fantastic focus and determination. Well done, Year 3 – you should be very proud of yourselves!
Now, onto some sporty news that’s sure to make you smile. Our Head Boy, Head Girl, and their deputies took the lead in organising and setting up our inter-schools sports competition with the MSC group. And guess what? Our fantastic Year 6 team WON the competition! A massive congratulations to all our Year 6 pupils involved – you did us proud! The other three teams have fed back that they had a brilliant afternoon and really enjoyed the friendly competition. What a wonderful display of teamwork and sportsmanship from everyone.
Meanwhile, our adventurous Year 4 pupils have been off to Grittleton for a few days. They’ve reported back that they had an absolutely wonderful time, filled with fun and new experiences. Although, I hear they’re all a bit exhausted now – Mrs Brock and Mrs Powton included! Thank you so much to our wonderful staff who give up their time to make these special experiences possible for our pupils. Your dedication truly makes a difference.
