Celebrating a Fabulous Week at School
09-10-2026
A Splash of Yellow and Another Busy Week!
Well, another Friday has arrived! I'm sure someone is making the weeks shorter because they seem to be flying by faster than our children heading out for OPAL playtime!
It's been another busy week at Chiseldon! Year 5 have been working hard on their assessments and looking at how artists are using aerosol spray and single use plastic to help reduce plastic in our oceans. Year 6 have continued making a splash in swimming, and we've had fire safety sessions planned for Years 1–5. Hopefully, the children now know more about fire safety than I do about operating the school photocopier!
Today we've been marking Hello Yellow, reminding everyone how important it is to look after our mental health and be kind to one another. Thank you so much for the lovely display of yellow across the entire school - definitely brightened up the grey autumn morning.
A quick reminder that bookings for parents' evenings are now open. Please make sure you've booked your appointment.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone! Enjoy some family time, recharge those batteries and, if anyone discovers where the weeks are disappearing to, please let me know!
