Crafting Creativity and Celebrating Values – The Heartbeat of Chiseldon
What a truly magical week it has been here at Chiseldon! The festive spirit has wrapped itself warmly around our school, and it’s been a joy to witness so much happiness and community sparkle.
Our fabulous choir has been on a merry musical journey, spreading cheer at not one, but two wonderful venues. Their voices brought smiles far and wide, and they were even treated to a delightful dinner at Harper’s Steakhouse—a perfect way to celebrate their hard work and talent.
Step inside the school, and you’ll find yourself in a winter wonderland! A huge thank you to Mr Timlin and his amazing team for transforming our school into a Christmas spectacle that truly captures the heart of the season. Every corner twinkles with festive magic, making our school a cosy, joyful place to be.
We were also honoured to welcome the NSPCC this week. They ran insightful workshops for our Year 2, Year 5, and Year 6 pupils, helping to nurture awareness and confidence in a supportive way. Many thanks to the NSPCC team for sharing their time and expertise with us.
Our youngest stars in EYFS had a very special outing to the postbox, posting their letters to Santa. What a wonderful way to bring their writing to life and add a sprinkle of excitement to their learning!
And let’s not forget our colourful dress-down day! The school was awash with vibrant hues, and the generosity of your donations was heartwarming. Thank you all for making it such a bright and cheerful occasion.
As we head towards the festive break, it’s moments like these that remind us of the warmth and community spirit that make Chiseldon so special.
