Crafting Creativity and Celebrating Values – The Heartbeat of Chiseldon
What a fantastic week we've had! The buzz around school is electric as our pupils get more and more excited about the amazing world of 3D printing that Mr Timlin is bringing into our classrooms. It’s incredible to see their curiosity and creativity come alive as they explore this cutting-edge technology. Watch this space – we have some truly exciting projects in the pipeline!
Meanwhile, our website is being updated! We’re working hard behind the scenes to make it easier and more enjoyable for parents to find everything you need. Please do take a moment to check in regularly and explore the updates – we want it to be a helpful hub for all our school news and resources.
The highlight of this week had to be our much-anticipated sleepover. I’m still hoping for a good night’s sleep tonight – fingers firmly crossed! I am sure that the children will have a blast, and it will be wonderful to see their smiles and hear their laughter echoing through the halls.
And speaking of fun, our Lego Wall is now in its third month! Each month, we focus on one of our core school values – this month was accountability. Pupils who demonstrate this value have their names entered into a special jar, and at the end of the month, I get to pick a lucky name to build a Lego piece for our display. This month, the honour went to Carter in Year 5, who created a fantastic Lego set that’s now proudly showcased in our reception area. It’s a colourful reminder of the HEART of Chiseldon in action!
