Chiseldon Chronicles: Celebrating Success and Supporting Every Pupil

Hello Chiseldon families,

What a whirlwind of a week we’ve had! First off, a big well done to our Year 6 pupils who tackled their assessments like champions. These little challenges are all part of gearing up for the big tests in May — keep up the fantastic work, Year 6!

This week, we also took time to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It was wonderful to see the pupils learning about his inspiring life and legacy. I encourage you to ask your child what they found out or what they thought was most interesting — you might be surprised by their insights!

Our Inclusion Team has been busy too, attending an inclusive leadership course. They’re now working on creating our very own Inclusion Framework, which we’ll share with you soon. This framework will explain how we support every pupil to thrive, especially those who need a little extra help. It’s all about making sure everyone feels valued and can shine.

Speaking of support, don’t forget our Coffee Morning this Monday at 9:30 am. It’s a great chance to meet other parents, have a chat, and enjoy a cuppa. Swindon Family Voice will be joining us as well, so it’s a perfect opportunity to connect and share. Everyone is very welcome!

Thanks for being part of our HEART community — where Honesty, Equality, Accountability, Respect, and Trust come together to help our children grow.

Have a wonderful weekend!
