Celebrating a Fabulous Week at School

Bats, Brunel & Brilliant Lunches!

What another fantastic week at Chiseldon!

Our cricket sessions this week focused on fun mini-games designed to build core skills, teamwork and confidence. The children impressed so much with their listening, effort and sportsmanship that we’ve been awarded new cricket equipment for the school — a brilliant achievement and very well deserved!

A huge well done to Year 2 for their fantastic class assembly all about the Victorians. The children confidently shared their learning about Victorian schools, inventions, Beatrix Potter, Isambard Kingdom Brunel and social reform. We were incredibly proud of them all.

This week also saw Mrs Hardy officially join Team Chiseldon as our new Cook in Charge. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the healthy, tasty meals she has been preparing, and we are delighted to welcome her to the school community.

Thank you, as always, for your continued support. Have a wonderful half-term break, enjoy the sunshine, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the final stretch of the year!
