Term Dates

At our school, we adhere to the current guidelines by operating for 39 weeks each year, allocating 5 days specifically for teacher training. This structure allows us to meet the legal requirement of 190 teaching days. Furthermore, our school exceeds the mandated 32.5 hours of instruction per week.

School Year Terms

The academic year is divided into six distinct terms. This structure allows us to provide a balanced and enriching educational experience for all pupils.

Term Breakdown:

  1. Term 1: September to October
  2. Term 2: November to December
  3. Term 3: January to February
  4. Term 4: February to April
  5. Term 5: April to May
  6. Term 6: June to July


Academic Year 2025-2026

Term 1: Tuesday 2nd September to Friday 17th October

Term 2: Monday 3rd November to Friday 19th December

Term 3: Monday 5th January to Friday 13th February 

Term 4: Monday 23rd February to Friday 27th March 

Term 5: Monday 13th April to Friday 22nd May

Term 6: Monday 1st June to Wednesday 22nd July.

PLEASE NOTE: There is 1 more Teacher Training Day to be added to the calendar.  We always aim to give at least two weeks notice with this training day being added to the calendar.
