This week we have focused on being independent learners and using our environment to do things we may find tricky. Lots of us are doing some fantastic exploring and are filling up their sticker charts quickly. We have been on leaf walk to collect them for leaf printing, a bus ride where we sand 'The wheels on the bus' and met some interesting characters along the way. We have washed babies, explored mark marking and writing and introduced Funky Fingers. Funky Fingers is a time in the day where we complete gross and fine motor activities, this week the activities have been, creating patterns with ribbons, rolling and moving balls over our bodies, pegging pegs onto plates and squeezing all the sponges out of sponges. We did some fantastic listening and are all building up our muscles ready for holding a pencil with control for writing!!
We voted for our new role play, as a team we came up with three good ideas and all cast a vote for the one we wanted. We did a fantastic job at accepting the majority vote. Our new role play is a garage so watch this space!!!
