We have worked so hard this week and I am so proud of all the children in the class for all their hard work and effort they've put into their learning.
In Maths we have been looking at hundreds, tens and ones and recognising them on their own and then as 3 digit numbers. In Topic we had a dry run with printing using apples and leaves to print with while we wait for our tiles to arrive to score our designs into. In English we wrote fantastic sentences in our Grace Darling biography - I was especially proud of the children for this as they have been working really hard to deepen their learning and change the model sentence into a better one.
In P.E. we made some interesting balances with only certain body parts being able to touch the floor. P.E. is every Monday and every child needs to have their kit in school and a pair of shoes to complete the daily mile in.
We rocked our 10 times tables this week but have found our 5 times tables a bit tricky. Don't forget we subscribe to TT Rockstars and another great game is 'hit the button' https://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button which checks the tables out of order as we check them out of order in class.
