What a crazy week it has been! It all culminated in the Year Five Class Assembly based on their learning for the term. I am so proud of their: line learning, acting and behaviour throughout this entire week and their learning of songs and final performance was brilliant. I hope you all remember all those rhymes to remind you of Henry VIII's wives and the order of the Kings and Queens of England. What a bodacious lot you are!
In Maths we completed our work on perimeter and moved on to multiplying and dividing by 10, 100 and 1,000. Some of us are already working with 6 digit numbers!
We are nearly at the end of our balanced argument sentences stacking, we just have the conclusion left to write so next week will be taken up with finishing this and beginning to plan our own.
Spelling results were fabulous this week, with everyone achieving 10/10 which I am very impressed/relieved about. Please make sure you continue to practise every day as this will mean more housepoints next week!
Finally, we are starting our Christmas Play rehearsals in earnest so everyone needs to be learning their lines ASAP. A costume letter will be sent home next week as well.
