Thank you for supporting the parents' meetings on Teams.  It was great to catch up with you and share how your children are doing; they have been working hard.  Have a wonderful half term, filled with family time and making happy memories.  Come back refreshed and raring to go!

I have been so impressed with Unicorns learning German.  They have blown me away this week, showing how to say "Hello," "I am ....," "How are you?"  "Wunderbar!" numbers 1-10 and even some names of fruit.  Keep up the good work Unicorns - you are wunderbar!

We have moved onto building words with five sounds and although they are tricky, when we use all our Sounds Write knowledge, we can do it.  Words like twist, scrub, stump, stink, spend.  Use the link below to try and work out which word doesn't have a picture.

We started talking about capacity this week, but the weather has been so awful we were unable to use the water tray in the garden.  Please spend some time over half term using the vocabulary below and encourage the children to spot when something is half full, nearly empty, full.

We took part in our first Maths Whizz on Thursday, thanks to Mrs Knott.  The children all tried really hard, answering some tricky questions.  Congratulations to Grace our Maths Whizz!

Make your own fossils - take photos as it would be great to share!
