Thank you for bringing in items for show and tell, the children asked lots of what, why and how questions.

This week in Pegasus Class we have continued our learning around Vincent Van Gogh, explaining his techniques used for a Starry Night and re-created our own paintings using cotton buds.  (You can see more of our Vincent Van Gogh art in our School virtual gallery on the website.)

We have been reading Room on the Broom acting out the story and creating our own witch's potions; there were lots of "frogs" hopping around that day!

We have been moving our bodies to our skeleton song "Dem Bones" which was great fun and the children took a real interest in skeletons and our bones.  Some of Year 3 came over to share their knowledge of the human skeleton with us, as they had made life size skeletons.

Our number of the week was 5.  The children have been explaining "one less than" and "one more than."

For PE we explored the trim trail, lots of climbing, hanging and balancing.

We finished the week exploring our class pumpkins; scooping, filling and general water fun.

Enjoy the photos and have a fantastic half term break.
