What a lovely, but short week it has been.

It has been a very busy week learning all about decimals. We have been focusing on counting in hundredths as well as dividing numbers by 10 and 100 to create decimal numbers. all of the children appear to have picked it up very quickly. Meanwhile, in English we have started creating our sentences for our non-chronological reports, including the use of similes, rhyming and personification.

We had some very interesting discussions as a class in RSHE this week when think about jealousy for our new topic of relationships. We had to think about what causes jealousy and how we can manage our jealousy. The children were able to share some excellent ideas, even relating them to personal experiences.

Just a few quick reminders;

Now that the weather is getting warmer please ensure that your child has a sunhat and a water bottle in school at all times as they may be required to sit in the shade at break and lunchtimes if not.

Trainers must also be in school everyday so that the children are able to complete their mile run.
