Weekly blog

Welcome to yet another exciting week here at Chiseldon Primary School.  The children have been working hard on all their assessments and teachers are busy writing end of year reports which are due to come out shortly.

If you would like to speak with the class teacher about the report, you will need to email and ask for a Teams meeting, as we are not holding face to face meetings until at least September 2021.

End of Year Activities

During my last blog, I forgot to mention that our Nursery children always have a graduation ceremony to bring to an end their time in nursery and moving to formal schooling.  We always welcome parents in to this event so that you can take photos and see your child receive their certificate.  This will be going ahead again this year but it will have to be outdoor, and I can only allow 2 seats per child.  I know that this maybe disappointing to read but I need to make sure that we remain within the boundaries of the risk assessments that we hold at school and in line with DfE guidance.

Year 4 Residential

On Monday our Year 4 pupils are off on a residential with Mr Urban, which I am sure will be a great success.  I know that the children are very excited and if you would like to wave your child off on Monday, please feel free to do so, for some, this will be their first time away from home.
