The weekly blog - keeping you up-to-date with school life; Stars of the Week; Housepoint winners and much more...

I hope my blog finds you all in good spirits as we continue to embrace the vibrant atmosphere of learning and growth at our school. It's my pleasure to share with you some exciting updates and upcoming events that showcase the wonderful things happening within our walls.

First and foremost, I'm thrilled to announce that our Headteacher Wall of Fame is now up and proudly displaying some truly remarkable work from our talented pupils. This initiative is designed to celebrate excellence and inspire our young learners to push their boundaries. When teachers or pupils believe they've created exceptional work, they're encouraged to bring it to me for consideration. If the work truly stands out as exemplary, the pupil will be rewarded with an impressive 20 housepoints, and their masterpiece will find a place of honour on our Wall of Fame in the main corridor. It's been heartwarming to see the pride and joy on the faces of our pupils as they see their hard work recognised in such a special way.

Looking ahead, we have an exciting afternoon planned for this Thursday that I'm sure many of you will want to mark in your calendars. It's our OPAL play afternoon, and we're extending a warm invitation to all of you to come along and join in the fun. OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) is a fantastic opportunity for our school community to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and engage in creative and active play. Your presence and participation would make the afternoon even more special for our pupils.

But that's not all! Before our OPAL play session, we're hosting a significant charity event that I know is close to many of our hearts. We'll be holding our McMillan's Coffee afternoon, a wonderful chance for us to come together for a good cause. We'll be selling a delightful array of cakes and tea and coffee to raise funds for this incredible charity. It's a perfect opportunity to enjoy some treats, catch up with other members of our school community, and contribute to a cause that makes a real difference in people's lives.

These events exemplify what makes our school community so special - our ability to combine learning, play, and compassion in ways that enrich all our lives. I look forward to seeing many of you on Thursday, whether you're admiring the Wall of Fame, enjoying a cup of tea for charity, or joining us for some outdoor play.
