The weekly blog - keeping you up-to-date with school life; Stars of the Week; Housepoint winners and much more...

What lovely weather we have enjoyed over this week.  Thank you to all parents who made sure that summer hats were in school and children had access to sun cream if required.  Can I please remind parents, that in extreme heat children also need to bring their water bottles into school so that they can take on plenty of fluid.

Our uniform for hot weather is that children can wear school shorts and a polo shirt a summer dress, or a skirt and top.  They must wear school shoes with socks please and they are not allowed to wear Crocs or flip-flops.

Next Wednesday will be our first transition day and the children will be taught by their next class teacher over the next 3 Wednesdays.  Normally, I would tell the children Wednesday morning in an assembly and they would then move to their new class.  However, there is a Headteacher meeting called by SBC and I will need to attend.  As I like telling the children where they will be next year, I will do this Monday in assembly and then I will inform all parents.
