What a fantastic week we've had at Chiseldon Primary & Nursery School! I'm thrilled to share with you the wonderful happenings and achievements that have made this week so special.

First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of you who contributed to our Harvest Festival. Your generous donations will be making their way to Swindon Foodbank, where they'll make a real difference to those in need. A special mention goes to our Year 5 pupils who led the assembly brilliantly and created a beautiful display – well done, everyone!

Speaking of achievements, our football team has kicked off the year in spectacular fashion with an impressive 8-0 victory over Drove Primary School. What a superb start to the season! It's wonderful to see our pupils excelling both in and out of the classroom.

As we enter October, we're embracing Black History Month across the school. Throughout the coming weeks, our pupils will be exploring this important topic through their classwork and assemblies, broadening their understanding and appreciation of diverse histories and cultures.
