Parental Involvement
We want to ensure that our parents and families have a close working relationship with our staff and governors.
We want to ensure that our parents and families have a close working relationship with our staff and governors.
We believe that parental involvement is crucial to the success of our pupils. We actively encourage parents to engage in their children's education through a variety of opportunities designed to foster collaboration and communication. Throughout the academic year, we host three topic celebrations where parents are invited to join their children in the classroom for an afternoon of collaborative learning. These events not only strengthen the bond between parents and pupils but also provide a platform for parents to witness firsthand the exciting learning experiences taking place at school.
In addition to our topic celebrations, we hold class assemblies where pupils showcase their learning achievements to their parents, allowing families to celebrate educational milestones together. We also conduct parent meetings and provide reports three times a year, ensuring that parents are well-informed about their children's academic progress and development. Beyond the classroom, we invite parents to participate in various celebration events, including our Christmas shows, Easter Bonnet parade, and both Christmas and Summer fairs. These events create a vibrant school community where parents can connect with staff and other families, reinforcing the importance of a supportive educational environment for our pupils. Together, we can inspire and empower our children to reach their full potential!
Good morning Mr Allen,
I just wanted to say what a fantastic programme this is, Olivia has been telling us all about the hippocampus, including what it does and where it is! It gave us a good laugh when she brought it up at the dinner table the other night.
Kind regards,
Dan M
