Thank you to all parents who attended parents evening this week. It was lovely to share the start of your child's journey here at Chiseldon Primary School.
On Monday we had visiting artists in to create a piece of art to be displayed on the outside of school. Each child had a disk and thinking of what colours make us happy the children squirted and spun making fantastic pieces of art.
Thursday we explored pumpkins until there was nothing left as we ate them! We started by looking, touching and smelling them. We then predicted what might be inside the pumpkins. After cutting them open and again looking and smelling them the children asked if they could eat them? We cut them up and cooked them in the microwave. The children were given the choice to try and most of them did.
In the afternoon we welcomed our grown ups into class for our first topic celebration of the new school year. We made kites and designed costumes for halloween. Thank you to all who came to celebrate with us.
