Week 26th November 2018

This week we have been busy starting to rehearse for our play, Bugsy Malone! The songs are coming along nicely but it would still be helpful if you could practice the songs with your children at home.

In Maths this week,  we began to learn  multiplication using the grid method. We are working really hard and will be continuing with it next week. It would still be really beneficial for the children to practice their times tables at home. A great resource is Top Marks, which can be used on laptops, iPads and phones.

Year 3 have thoroughly enjoyed learning about WW1 and this week we looked at what happened to children in the war. We researched the jobs they had to do and how their lives had changed.  We wrote postcards as if we were children in the war to our fathers away at war.

Have a lovely weekend and I'll see you on Monday!
