This week flew by!
Our week began on Monday by researching how animals and humans adapt to living in the desert. We split the class into 4 groups and each group researched a different animal. The animals we researched were camels, kangaroos, falcons and humans. Each group created a poster and prepared a presentation to share their ideas with the rest of the class.
In Maths, we have continued to learn all about fractions. We started a new area which was equivalent fractions. The children managed to find lots of patterns to link fractions. Their times table knowledge really showed and helped them a lot. Keep up the work on this at home!
The children continued their writing in English based around the 'Wolves in the Walls'. We are really enjoying this story and can't wait for our 'Wolf Party' on Monday.
Year 3 had another great ice-skating lesson this week! I can already see so much improvement in the children. There is definitely more time spent on their feet and less time on the floor already!
Have a lovely weekend and I'll see you all on Monday!
