Week 11 28th - 2nd December 2016

The children have all been working together practising their lines and actions in their rehearsals all week for their productions next week. They have all been working very hard and I'm excited to present our KS1 Christmas nativity to you all.

In English, the children have been looking at the features and the structure of letters ready for their letters to Father Christmas next week.

In Maths, the children have been learning about counting in 2's, 5's and 10's. They have also been recapping over their addition and subtraction facts.

The children will be creating Christmas decoration's this Thursday 8th, to sell at the Christmas fete. If any parents or guardians can spare year 2 some of their time after 1:30pm to help us make some of these decorations, we would all appreciate your support.

Please could you practise your 48 Spellings for the Spelling Bee this week. If your child can complete and spell 35 or more of these spellings they can enter for the Spelling Bee. I will test the children on the Monday afternoon.

I wish you all a wonderful weekend and I will see you all on Monday.
