We have had a great week in Year 3! The children have really impressed me with how hard they are working.
In English, we have started our writing based on Matilda. The children are writing a diary entry from the perspective of Matilda. They showed some excellent vocabulary in their descriptions of the Trunchbull.
Maths has been all about place value this week. The children have worked really hard to make sure they understand and have been using lots of practical resources to help them.
Continuing our Science topic of plants, this week the children were learning all about the things plants need to grow. They set up their own investigation to see what would happen if a plant did not have one of vital things needed for survival e.g. water. We will be monitoring them throughout the week to see if any changes happen.
Have a lovely weekend and I will see you all on Monday!
