W/C 6th March 2017

We are very excited about starting our brilliant new book this week,  "The Story of Tracy Beaker". It has already got us thinking about different lives and is quite different to our last two books. We have been very busy doing recounts of a day in our life, and reading about Roman life to help us recognise a good recount.

In Maths we have gone from adding and subtracting fractions to practicing using money, including setting up a shop to help us practice using different coins and adding up bills. Any practice we can get at home would be really great! in Science we have finished our fascinating sound topic, by looking at what materials make the best soundproofing. We were surprised at the results, but it was very interesting. We are looking forward to starting our new topic next week.

In RE we were looking at the forgiveness Jesus showed to others, which led to lots of searching questions.

We are looking forward to Science week next week!
