Another busy week for year 4! We gave ourselves a break from division this week and had a look at decimal numbers, how they round just like other numbers and how we can order them. In English we spent some time editing our excellent work. We have started a new English topic, a book called 'Bike Boy', which looks really interesting. In Science we have been creating food chains, and thinking about what would happen to animals if their prey disappeared. We have had lots of fun in R.E this week, as we visited the church to find out about Christian symbols. We learnt lots of things we did not know, even the clothes Father Roger wears are symbolic according to the time of year! We have been testing out our styling skills in computing, and we think we are ready to edit our own work. Topic has been very interesting this week, we have started to make geometric mosaics like the great mosaic artists, and are going to be using our ideas to make products for the Christmas Fair. We have also been researching four Roman Emperors, and putting ourselves in their shoes to write a speech. Phew! We are looking forward to the weekend now!
