Another exciting week: Shakespeare Week!
In Year 6, we looked at 'Hamlet', specifically at the speech of Hamlet's father's ghost, persuading Hamlet to find his killer. To do this, first we had to translate the speech into modern English. Then, we had to use modal verbs to show certainty - 'must', 'will' and 'shall' to make sure Hamlet did as we asked!
After writing our speech, we performed them with the Year 5's, who also wrote persuasive speeches. We then had to do some improvisation to come up with an answer from Hamlet.
