This week we have been discovering more about the wacky characters in our guided reading book.
In English we have been improving our editing skills, and learning more about adverbs and metaphor. We also had a yummy experience day trying out Italian food, which has helped us to describe the flavours in a more inviting way, ready for our travel brochures. In computing we have been researching styling (formatting) and are ready to try some new skills. Our topic work this week has been about Roman life, we have been discovering what Romans liked to eat and what life was like for children in Rome. Again, we have been focusing on multiplication in maths and we started to think about the links between multiplication and division. We have had fun in science, planning and running experiments about minibeasts and the habitats they prefer. We have also been focusing on anti bullying this week, including looking at the new anti bullying policy and deciding if it needed anything to be added.
Of course the end of the week we celebrated 'Children in Need' day, by making some fantastic Pudsey puppets!
