Wow! we made it to the end of term. What a final week we have had! We spent lots of time perfecting our KS2 performance, and finally got to perform it to a rapt audience. What energy! What style! We had so much fun, but were relieved when it was over! We visited the church and had chance to consider what Christmas is really all about, whilst we sang beautifully. We also had the opportunity to visit New College in Swindon, where we enjoyed a performance of Aladdin, and got into the pantomime spirit (Oh yes we did!). We wore fantastic jumpers for Christmas jumper day, and really enjoyed our Christmas dinner. Of course, we also did a little bit of seasonal learning, with some Christmas maths challenges and some reading comprehension activities about the history of Christmas celebrations. One of the highlights of our week was demonstrating our map reading skills to parents at Topic Celebration - we now have a good working knowledge of the layout of the North Pole!
Looking forward to the new year!
