We have made it to the final week of the term! I am so proud of how hard you have worked over this term. You have really got into the swing of Year 3 and you should all be giving yourselves a huge pat on the back.
In English this week, we have been looking at a range of different grammar. This included how to use inverted commas when using speech in our writing. What a preposition is and recognising when we use them and looking at the difference between a subordinate and a main clause.
In Maths we have been looking at how to find the perimeter of simple 2D shapes. We looked at lots of different items around the classroom and made sure we were using our rulers appropriately.
We finally finished and learnt our song lyrics to Beyond the sea and we loved performing it to the parents at topic celebration. We also had a competition to see who could create the best under the sea object out of lego. A big well done to Harry Cantellow and Edan for making an incredible crab!
