Another great week in Dragon Class!
To celebrate poetry month Dragon class have been writing their own poem about their favourite animal. We started by picking out the features of a poem, planning what adjectives we would use to describe it and finally write it! Afterwards they got the chance to read their poem to the rest of the class and we all had to guess the animal.
In Maths this week we have been looking at sequencing and ordering the days of the week and the months of the year. This involved a lot of singing which I am sure, and secretly hope, the children have been continuing at home.
In Science we have continued looking at the different animal types and it was a chance for the class to produce a poster on a chosen animal. These posters included facts and pictures and I was very impressed by one child knowing a lot about snakes.
In Geography we learnt about the capital cities of the countries that make up the United Kingdom and it was great to see where members of the class had visited.
Have a fantastic weekend.
