This week we have been learning how to write plays scripts. We started by looking at different examples and the features, then we had a go at using a play script to perform a scene to the rest of the class; we particularly focused on stage directions. After that, we learnt how to change narrative into a play script using our guided reading book, Wolf Brother.
In maths we learnt how to read, write, order and compare decimals with 3 decimal places.
Because we are attending an Earth Summit workshop next week, we have been asked to research how much waste we get rid of in the school as well as how the school is heated. Mr Timlin came to talk to us and help us with our presentations.
As well as that, four of us visited Pinewood School to take part in Year 5 maths competition. Unfortunately we didn't win but we had a great time problem solving!
