While some of the class were away in Pencelli, the rest of us took part in a project: we had to design a new playground for the school. We had a budget to keep within and were able to use a catalogue and the internet to price it up. Also, we had to find out the area and perimeter of the school playground to help us order the correct amount of surface/equipment.
Once we were happy with our designs, we wrote a persuasive letter to the School Parliament asking them to consider some of our designs.
On Wednesday, we walked to Coate Water for lunch. It was a lovely day and we managed to find our way there and back using cycle routes.
