To start the week, we celebrated European Day of Languages. We learnt about Traditional French foods and even had a chance to taste some! We tried brioche, brie and some chocolate filled crepes - yum!
We continued to write explanation texts in English and based them on Wallace and Gromit's cracking contraption: The Snoozatron.
In maths, we learnt how to subtract using the column method - this included lots of missing box problems which really made us think!
In topic, we learnt about exporting and importing food. We learnt about the process of growing bananas and how they are exported from countries such as Costa Rica. We then looked at what other countries export foods to the UK and placed these on a world map.
